For Chicken Marination
- 900 gms Chicken thighs and drumsticks
- 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste adrak lehsun ka paste
- 2 tbsp Beaten Curd Dahi
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder haldi powder
- 1/2 tsp Degi Red Chilli Powder degi lal mirch powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder dhania powder
- Salt to taste Namak swad anusar
For Onion Masala
- Oil for shallow fry
- 4 pcs Onion medium sized
- 7 pcs Cashew Nut Kaju
- 1 tsp Degi Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- Salt to taste
For Cooking Chicken
- 4 tbsp Fried Onion Oil
- 900 gms Marinated Chicken
For Chicken Changezi
- 2 tbsp Fried Onion Oil
- 1 pc Black Cardamom Badi elaichi
- 4 pcs Cloves laung
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick Dalchini
- 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 pcs Green Chilli
- 1 cup Fresh Tomato Puree
- Prepared Onion Masala
- 2 tbsp Beaten Curd
- 11/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Degi Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- Cooked Chicken thighs and drumsticks
- 1/3 cup Water
- Coriander Sprig Dhaniya k patte
Process For Chicken Marination
- In a bowl, add chicken, ginger garlic paste, salt, curd, turmeric powder, degi red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well.Keep aside for further use.
Process for Making Onion Masala
- In a shallow pan, add oil, on a medium flame, once its hot, add onion and shallow fry for 3-4 mints till translucent,transfer into a tray.
- In the same pan add cashew nuts and fry for 2-3 mints on low flame and transfer onto a tray.
- Add degi red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt to taste.
- Transfer into a grinder jar and make a coarse paste.Keep aside for further use.
Process For Cooking Chicken
- In a shallow pan, add fried onion oil, once its hot, place marinated chicken into the oil. Shallow fry the chicken for 8-9 mints on medium flamer or untill tender.
- Transfer it onto a plate and keep it aside for further use.
Process For Making Chicken Changezi
- In the same pan or tawa, add fried onion oil, once its hot, add black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick and let it splutter.
- Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli broken into half and saute on medium flame.
- Add fresh tomato Puree and let it cook for 4-5 mints.Once the tomato puree is cooled, add prepared onion masala amd saute well on medium flame.
- Now add curd, coriander powder, degi red chilli powder, cumin powder and saute well.
- Add cooked chicken and mix well, add water and let it cook for 5-6 mints on medium flame.
- Transfer it onto a serving dish and garnish it with coriander sprig.
- Serve hot with roti.
